Camp 2022

After going over the survey we sent out and a lot of discussion among the board and with campers and SSPs. We have decided as much as we all want to have camp and get back to normal we have a unique group which requires extra thought and precautions. We just don’t want to take the risk. Numbers are dropping but we have no way of knowing what things will be like in June. We want to give it one more year. If things continue to move in a positive direction we will be planning some smaller group activities in the area. Please keep an eye out for upcoming events.

Thank you,

Camp this year?

We need your help on decisions for camp this year. Current restrictions which may change say we need to operate at half capacity and possibly be set up in pods with limited interaction with anyone outside your pod. Including housing, eating, and socializing. With other restrictions as well.

Thank you,

Camp This Year?

Hello DeafBlind Camper and SSP/Interpreter,

It is the time of the year when we usually start planning for DeafBlind Camp in June.  The global pandemic is still here and it has impacted every one.  It is a tough time and hope everyone is as well as can be.

We have decided to not plan for the Camp in 2021.  We wish you all a great year of meaningful opporutnities.  We will meet again at the next Camp 2022.  Take care and be well.

Thank you,
